Learn Spanish on the Beach in Valencia! 🏖️🍷

Come join us for a relaxed Spanish beach picnic in Valencia, where we’ll practice Spanish, meet other local expats, and enjoy some snacks and drinks by the sea! ☀️

This meetup is aimed roughly at B1 level, but there’s absolutely no pressure. You don’t need perfect grammar or vocabulary - the whole idea is to get comfortable speaking, make mistakes, have a laugh, and meet new people.

We’ll start with some light Spanish conversation and introductions before getting into a fun, non-boring Spanish lesson with our iconic Spanish teacher Laura, some games, conversation challenges, and activities designed to actually get us talking. Think less classroom, more chatting with friends on the beach. 🇪🇸

Afterwards, feel free to stay on the beach, hang out, enjoy the picnic, and get to know each other. We’ll bring some snacks and drinks to share, but feel free to bring anything you particularly fancy.

What to bring:

🌴 A blanket or beach towel

🥨 Your favourite picnic snacks (optional)

🍹 Something you'd like to drink in particular (optional) - sangria, perhaps?

🖊 Ideally some bits to take notes with - notepad and a pen.

The goal is simply to practice Spanish, connect with other expats in Valencia, and have a really fun afternoon by the sea. We expect most people will come alone.
